Jazz Leadership Project founders Greg Thomas and Jewel Kinch-Thomas launched the Tune In To Leadership newsletter to advance creative conversations on leadership in personal, civic, cultural, and organizational life. We believe strongly that jazz is one of the most powerful contemporary models and metaphors for individual excellence and high-performance collaboration amidst the most momentous changes since the Industrial Revolution. Today’s wicked problems require creativity, mastery, deep listening, and the capacity to face massive challenges and conflicts brought by differences with an open, resilient, entrepreneurial attitude, plus skillful improvisation. Join us on a journey into 360° Collaborative Leadership.
We facilitate the Jazz Leadership Project (JLP), an innovative approach to personal and team development through the entertaining insights of jazz music.
In our workshop, we use jazz principles and practices with a live jazz trio and employ an exclusive workstyle assessment to enhance personal creativity and communication skills, strengthen leadership capacity, and elevate group collaboration via experiential learning.
We've facilitated workshops for organizations such as JPMorgan Chase, Verizon, TD Bank, and Google.
The Jazz Leadership Project workshop, featuring live musicians, provides participants with tools to expand their leadership capacity and team cohesion. In half-day to full-day sessions, participants gain actionable insights into ways to become more effective and inspired in their workspace.
